Our caravan wheel alignment equipment has been developed specifically for professional caravan alignment, with laser measuring equipment, run-out adjustable wheel frames, software and training available as part of the complete system.
The system can be used in-house or as part of a mobile alignment service, with equipment, training, software and backup support available to help you provide a professional caravan alignment service.
Purpose-built equipment for caravan wheel-alignment specialists, supplied as a complete system for accurate professional alignment.
Easy-to-use multi-function wheel frames with run-out compensation adjustment. Designed to suit caravan wheel alignment applications, with additional legs supplied to accommodate a range of wheel sizes.
Run-out adjustment is critical when taking laser readings over distance, as any discrepancy can be multiplied.
The system uses a quality Australian-made laser mounted to the wheel-frame adaptor, which can be quickly checked and adjusted for calibration by the operator.
Self-centring chassis frames establish and maintain a true chassis centre line, allowing toe and thrust adjustments to be set accurately.
Purpose-built alignment software assists the operator with measurements and alignment calculations while working on the caravan.
The Digi-Pas camber reader provides accurate digital camber measurement and includes Bluetooth connectivity with a dedicated reader, allowing measurements to be read from underneath the caravan.
The unit can also be quickly checked and calibrated by the operator.
Accurate laser alignment depends on establishing a reliable reference from the wheel to the target, which is why correct wheel run-out adjustment is essential.
The system has been designed and developed from years of practical wheel-alignment experience to provide a repeatable method for professional caravan alignment.
Our software has been developed specifically for caravan wheel alignment. It assists with alignment settings while also providing customers with a clear understanding of the work carried out on their caravan.
The complete system is designed so toe and thrust measurements are taken between the targets rather than multiplied through a single chassis frame. Correct wheel run-out adjustment is also essential, as any remaining run-out can be magnified over the laser distance.
Designed, built and tested by an experienced wheel-alignment technician with years of hands-on industry experience.
A comprehensive equipment package designed to give a professional caravan wheel-alignment technician the equipment required to establish chassis centre, measure wheel alignment and carry out accurate toe, thrust and camber checks.
Purpose-built software developed specifically for professional caravan wheel alignment. Enter the alignment measurements and the software assists with toe, thrust and camber calculations for both the front and rear of the caravan.
Our purpose-built Caravan Wheel Alignment Software has been developed specifically for professional caravan wheel alignment. It assists the technician with alignment calculations while also providing clear before-and-after information that helps customers understand the work carried out on their caravan.
The system is designed around accurate centre-line measurement. Toe and thrust errors are calculated from the distance between the targets rather than being multiplied across a single chassis-frame measurement.
Accurate wheel-frame run-out adjustment is also an important part of the process. Any run-out that is not eliminated at the wheel frame can affect the laser measurement as the measuring distance increases.
Clear before-and-after diagrams help show toe and thrust alignment results and the changes made during the alignment.
Before-and-after camber diagrams provide an easy-to-understand visual record of the caravan's alignment results.
A 2-year software licence is included with the professional wheel-alignment system.
Purpose-built software assists the operator with toe alignment by using the measured target readings to calculate the alignment difference and help establish an approximate desired toe target setting.
A Gmail account is required to use the toe alignment app.
The professional system includes an Android device for viewing digital camber readings from the Digi-Pas camber reader while working around or underneath the caravan.
The alignment software includes a growing library of practical tips, procedures and workshop information developed from real caravan wheel-alignment work.
Quickly access information covering specific caravan models, suspension systems, calibration procedures, common alignment problems and proven workshop solutions.
Accurate caravan wheel alignment starts with accurate measurement. Our system has been designed so the technician can establish a true chassis centre line, eliminate wheel-frame run-out and accurately measure toe, thrust and camber.
Self-centring chassis frames are mounted at each end of the caravan. Because they automatically centre themselves, they establish a true centre line along the caravan chassis.
This centre line is used to determine toe and thrust angles and allows each wheel to be aligned individually to the caravan's true centre line.
Even a small amount of inaccuracy at the laser mounting point can create a much larger measurement error at the target. Our wheel frames therefore include run-out adjustment to compensate for variations when fitted to the caravan wheel.
A 1 mm error at the wheel can become approximately 4 mm at a target four metres away, and that error can be doubled when reflected back to the laser position.
Even a quality laser may require minor adjustment over time. The system allows the laser to be checked and, when required, quickly calibrated by the operator.
The digital camber reader measures to two decimal places and can be checked and adjusted for calibration. A built-in bubble level also provides a simple backup method for monitoring calibration.
Toe is measured one metre in front of the wheel. Because the chassis frames may be positioned several metres apart, readings from the front and rear targets can be compared to improve measurement accuracy.
Left and right toe readings can then be compared to determine thrust angle. The system measures along the caravan rather than simply across the wheel spacing.
The self-centring chassis frames establish the caravan's true centre line. Wheel-frame run-out is then eliminated and the laser is checked for accuracy before alignment measurements are taken.
The software has been developed alongside the alignment equipment to assist with calculations, alignment settings and the interpretation of readings.
After the measurements are entered, the software indicates whether the settings are within or outside the desired range. Where an adjustment cannot achieve the desired result, this can also help identify that further mechanical work may be required.
Before-and-after visual results also help the customer understand the alignment condition and the work performed.
Purchasing professional alignment equipment is only the beginning. Training is provided at our Rockhampton facility to help you understand the complete alignment process and get the best from your new system.
Training is provided in Rockhampton, Queensland, with ongoing personal phone backup support after you take your system home.
